Multinational export companies are major generators of jobs and export sales, stated the Irish Exporters Association (IEA) at the launch of the Multinational Exporter of the Year Award 2012 programme with Aer Lingus Cargo who will sponsor the Award.

Aer Lingus Cargo announces today, 12th March 2012, that effective 26th March 2012 a fuel surcharge increase to € 1.00 per actual kilo will apply.

The Aer Lingus Cargo Fuel Surcharge Index is based on monitoring the daily market closing price of Jet Kerosene price fluctuations on a weekly basis. The index has been above 170 for more than fourteen days and triggers an increase of the surcharge.
