Aer Lingus Cargo announces on 22nd April 2013, that effective 06th May 2013 a decrease of € 0.05 will apply to the current fuel surcharge, bringing the FSC to € 0.95 per actual kilo.

Extreme weather conditions at Irish airports on Wednesday night caused major disruption to Aer Lingus operations. High winds at Dublin and Cork airports necessitated diversions of a large number of aircraft, from their originally intended Irish destinations, to UK airports. A number of flights were also cancelled. As a result, many of the scheduled UK and European operations on Thursday morning 18th April are cancelled or significantly delayed.
